FOCUS: Smokin Red Dirt BBQ
If you like barbecue, make sure you check out the 8th annual Roberts Ranch Smokin Red Dirt BBQ April 19 and 20 in downtown Enid.
Barbecue experts — and novices — from all over the region will compete for top prizes during the event.
On April 19, the public will be able to get themselves a free pulled-pork barbecue sandwich, as well as enjoy vendors and live music. Also on that day will be a brand new event, the Pelagic Tank LLC Kids-Q, where teams of children can compete in a barbecuing contest of their own.
The Red Dirt BBQ will continue on Saturday with pony rides, a magician, live music and awards ceremony.
Deadline to register for both the Kids-Q and regular barbecue cook-off is Monday. For more information, go to reddirtbbq.com.
