Walk 4RKids

David Allen Memorial Ballpark

The 4RKids Foundation is hosting its annual fundraising event, Walk 4RKids, this Saturday at the ballpark downtown.

4RKids helps developmentally disabled individuals in Garfield County and northwest Oklahoma. It strives to promotes the needs for those individuals and provide them the opportunities they need to succeed.

Registration for the event begins at 8 a.m., with events beginning at 9 a.m. The walk is free, while registration for a 5K run costs $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event.

After the walk and run, free hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks will be provided, and carnival games, prizes, clowns and facepainting also will be offered.
