ENID, Okla. —
Odd-even watering restrictions will remain in effect for now, despite heavy rain during July, Enid City Manager Eric Benson said today.
Weather in August remains to be seen, Benson said.
The second year in a row of mandatory rationing was announced July 10. Enid water customers are only allowed to water their lawns every other day.
Locations with a street address ending in an even number can only water their lawns on even-numbered calendar days, and the opposite for addresses ending in an odd number.
Members of the Enid City Commission are currently meeting in study session at City Hall.
