ENID, Okla. —
A 62-year-old Sharon woman was killed Monday afternoon on Highway 34 South of Sharon.
Elizabeth Enox was southbound on Highway 34 about four miles south of Sharon in a 1994 GMC when she was rear-ended while attempting to turn onto an East-West County Road No. 55 about 2:35 p.m., according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Enox’s vehicle was struck by a 2012 Toyota Tundra driven by 55-year-old Todd White II, of Vici, according to the patrol.
Enox was taken from the scene to Woodward Regional Hospital with internal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the hospital. White was not injured.
The collision report from the patrol lists “following too closely-human element” as the cause of the collision.
