‘Eleemosynary’

8 tonight and Saturday
Gaslight Theatre
221 N. Independence

Organizers are hoping to appeal to families — specifically mothers and daughters — as Gaslight Theatre presents “Eleemosynary,” a one-act play depicting the relationships between three generations of women.
Dorothea, the oldest woman, is played by Mary McDonald. Artie is Dorothea’s daughter and played by April Swinnea-Ogg, and Echo is Artie’s daughter. Echo is played by Aly Gideon. The production is directed by Jason Ogg.
The characters in “Eleemosynary” depict three generations and how one generation passes on both good and bad qualities, Ogg said.
During intermission and in the lobby before curtain, a special performance is slated by a member of the E-Town Rhythm Kings, Ogg said.
For tickets call the Gaslight Theatre box office at 234-2307.
