ENID, OK —
Nancy Richey went to meet the love of her life in Heaven November 15, 2013. She was born November 3, 1929, in Enid to Joseph and Mabel (Hannon) Hager.
She attended local schools and graduated with the class of 1947 at Emerson due to the fire at Enid High School. After graduation, she worked for a time as a switchboard operator at Southwestern Bell.
On July 14, 1949, she married Cecil L. Richey in Enid, where they made their home. After raising the kids, she went to work as a ward clerk at St. Mary’s for nearly 10 years.
She was a longtime member of Garriott Road Church of Christ. She enjoyed antiquing and collecting, but she mostly loved spending time with her grandbabies.
She is survived by her children, J. Lewis Richey and wife Mona of Deer Park, TX, Janice Morgan and husband Doug of Grove, OK, Randy Richey and wife Mauri of Oklahoma City, and Nancy Fuksa and husband Dwayne of Enid; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Erma; two brothers, Jerry and Mike; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister and four brothers.
Funeral is 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Garriott Road Church of Christ. Ray Rose will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
