ENID, Okla. — Nancy L. Snow, 80, of Enid, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with Rev. Wade Burleson officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Nancy was born Nov. 25, 1931, in Wewoka, Okla., to Oliver Harrington and Lavaner Ferguson and passed away suddenly at Greenbrier Assisted Living.

She was raised in Wewoka and attended New Lima High School, where she graduated Valedictorian of the 1949 graduating class. She attended Phillips University. She received her Certified Professional Secretary certification in 1978.

Nancy married Thomas Snow Nov. 11, 1948, in Berryville, Ark. He passed away Feb. 4, 2007.

She worked as an office manager for the Goodyear Store in Seminole from 1951-1956. They moved to Enid in 1961, where she worked at OG&E until retiring in 1986. She worked as the financial secretary at First Baptist Church until 1992.

She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and the Sojourners Sunday school class.

Nancy is survived by son, Thomas H. Snow of Oklahoma City; daughter, Donna Hundley and husband Rick of Enid; four grandchildren, Kaci Fisher and husband Matt of Nashville, Tenn., Chase Hundley and wife Natalie of Oklahoma City, Thomas L. Snow and wife Jennifer of Oklahoma City, and Janene Stewart and husband Jerry of Norman; six great-grandchildren, Abigail, Asher, Ari, Aliyah, Jackson and Hudson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and a sister.

As a breast cancer survivor, memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

    Funeral service for DeLawrence “De” Hamilton will be Saturday, April 19, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Medford. The Rev. Bob Smith and the Rev. Jonathan Gilliland will officiate. Burial will follow in  Rosemound Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc., of Medford. Memories may be shared with the family at   
     De was born June 2, 1926, in Medford, the son of George Alexander and Myrtle Biby Hamilton. De graduated from Gore High School. He entered the U.S. Navy on July 3, 1944 and was discharged on June 13, 1946. After De returned to Medford, he and Emma Jean Carrier were married on Sept. 29, 1946, in Nash. De worked as a butcher and retired in 1989. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Medford and was ordained as a Deacon in 1951.
