ENID, OK — Will Leonard “Sarge” Breckenridge, 78, left this world to be with the Lord Monday, October 28, 2013. Will was residing at Greenbrier Nursing home in Enid Oklahoma at the time of his death.

Born November 24, 1934, in Moline, Illinois, Will joined the United States Army in 1952 and served 19 honorable years and 13 years in an Army Reserve unit. He retired in 1984. Will is preceded in death by his mother and father, one brother and two sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Lynda Wilson of Arkansas; his sister, Rose Marie Miller of Omaha, Nebraska; three brothers, Roy Breckenridge, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Harold and Albert Breckenridge, of Omaha, Nebraska.

A private military funeral with full honors will be at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Army Emergency Relief Society. Contact AERC at (866) 878-6378 or donations@aerhq.org.

“Say not in grief ‘He is no More’ but live in thankfulness that ‘He Was.’

God’s fingers touched him, and he slept.”
