ENID — Memorial service for Harold “Harry” W. Dry Jr., age 61, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jeff Jackson officiating. Cremation arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral. Military honors are by Silver Talon Honor Guard.

Harry was born to Harold Walter and Emeline Ruth (Miller) Dry on Nov. 8, 1950, in Alexandria, Va., and passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, in Enid, Okla.

He grew up in Reading, Pa., and graduated from Elexor High School. Harry served in the United States Air Force and was discharged in 1972. He made his home in Lubbock, Texas, for 20 years, where he worked for Reece Air Force Base. He married Lora Woodworth on March 1, 1980, in Lubbock, Texas. They moved to Enid, Okla., in 1997, where Harry worked at Vance Air Force Base as a database adminstrator.

He is survived by his wife, Lora of the home; daughters Cristy Luker (Scott) of Lubbock Texas, and Janet Dry of Enid, Okla.; grandchildren Kaylee, Alex, and Jordan; sisters Duranne Drumheller of Middleburg, Pa., and Beverly Culburt of Labanon, Pa. and other relatives.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents.
