ENID, Okla. —
Idena Vereta Milliron was born in Sumner, Okla., on Dec. 26, 1920. She was the seventh child of William and Ida Milliron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her sister, Bernice Milliron Potter.
On Feb. 9, 1941, she married Eugene Spillman.
After Eugene’s service during World War II, the family settled in the Midwest City area. They had three children, Eugene Jr., Patricia and Joseph.
They were active at First Christian Church of Midwest City, and both worked at Tinker Air Force Base.
She had five grandchildren, Wendy Loyd Cook, Megan Spillman Walsh, Seth Spillman, Nina Spillman and Stephen Scott Spillman, and two great-grandchildren, Elijah Eugene Spillman and Olivia Spillman.
She passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012.
Funeral service for Idena was conducted by Ford Funeral Service at First Christian Church, Midwest City, at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012. Graveside service followed at 3 p.m. in Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry, Okla.
