ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Myrlene S. Fagan, 84, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Garland Road Baptist Church, with Dr. Greg Hook officiating.

Burial will be in Waukomis Cemetery. Arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Myrlene was born to James and Myrtle (Hilliard) Steele on March 26, 1928, in Comanche, Texas, and passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, in Enid.

Myrlene grew up in Comanche, Texas.

On June 6, 1946, she married Therman Fagan in Comanche, where they made their home.

They moved to Enid in 1964.

Myrlene was a member of Garland Road Baptist Church, where she was the secretary and bookkeeper.

She was a volunteer at Bass and a member of Sam’s R.V. Club. Myrlene loved gardening and her family.  

She is survived by her son, Rick Fagan and wife Judy of Enid; daughter-in-law, Pam Fagan and husband Tim of Enid; five grandchildren, Julie Thibodeau and husband Jason, James Fagan, Chris Fagan, Michael Fagan and wife Emily, and Sarah Fagan; three great-grandchildren, Seth, Joshua and Karis Thibodeau; two sisters, Nina Jones of Snyder, Texas, and Peggy Mulhall of Groves, Texas.

Myrlene was preceded in death by her husband, Therman; son, Randy Fagan; two brothers and one sister.
