ENID, Okla. —
Graveside memorial service for Rosemary Curtis, 85-year-old Enid resident, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, in Memorial Park Cemetery, Ten Commandments Section.
The Rev. Jim Jones will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Rosemary was born the fourth child of nine to Edgar Endsley and Maude Cellan Endsley on June 2, 1927. She passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012.
She grew up in Cleo Springs and graduated from Cleo Springs High School.
In August 1946, she married Billie John Curtis of Carmen, Okla. They made their home in Hayward, Calif., for the next 18 years, returning to Enid in 1964.
Rosemary was a homemaker while her children were young, but really enjoyed working at the Ramada Inn from 1981 to 1999. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Larry and wife Kathy of Fairmont, Okla., and Gary and wife Rosy of Dove Canyon, Calif.; two granddaughters, Michelle and husband Byron of San Fransisco, and Suzanne and husband Mat of Hooper, Utah; two grandsons, Santiago and wife Rocio of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Danny and wife Mahta of Diamond Bar, Calif.; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers and sisters, and some nieces and nephews.
