ENID, Okla. —
Funeral service for Debra Lynn Palmer, 56, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Gail Edmison officiating. Burial will be in Black Bear Cemetery. Visitation with family is 5:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, March 21, at the funeral home.
Debra was born to Sam and Claire (Hoffmann) Allen on Sept. 1, 1957, in Enid, Okla., and passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, in Enid.
Debra grew up on a farm in Garber and graduated from Garber High School.
She worked 20 years for NORCE as a groundskeeper, retiring early due to poor health. Debra enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by children, Kias Palmer of Yukon, and Elizabeth (Bill) Thrash of Gladwater, Texas; three grandchildren, Zachary, Tyler and Isabella; three brothers, Dale Allen and Gilbert Allen of Garber, and Karl Allen of Camden, S.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to Black Bear Cemetery or Garber FFA.
