ENID, Okla. —
Cynthia Lee Witt, 52, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013, at Jefferson City Manor. She was born November 4, 1960, in Springfield, Missouri.
Cynthia was employed with Northern Oklahoma Resource Center for the state of Oklahoma until she retired.
Having lost her son Adam to a Christmas Day fire and her son Eric to an automobile accident, Cynthia was very involved in Compassionate Friends, which helps other parents who have lost children. She was an elephant collector, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Chad Witt (Amy) of Jefferson City and Joseph White (Leslie) of Enid; one brother, Jack Baker of Branson; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including her special niece Jennifer Markway.
She was preceded in death by sons Eric Witt and Adam Wind; father and stepmother Don Lee and Sandra Witt; mother Mary Anna (Vehorn) Witt; brother Mac Baker; sister and brother-in-law, General James and Pat Pruitt.
Friends will be received from 6-7 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with the funeral at 7. Interment in Enid Cemetery.
