On Nadine’s 19th birthday, July 27, 1948, she married Edward Walterscheidt at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hennessey. Three sons, Keith, Kent and Kelly were born to this union. They lived in the Harmony community until 1979, when they moved to Hennessey.

She was a wonderful quilter, making many beautiful quilts for family and friends. She collected peacocks for years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, St. Joseph’s Altar Society and Farmerette Home Demonstration Club. She worked for the town of Hennessey from 1981 until she retired in 1994.
