ENID, Okla. —
Service for Kenneth D. “Skosh” Christenson, 69, of Enid, will be held by the family privately at a later date. The care and cremation are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. A register book is at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home for friends to sign.
He was born Aug. 1, 1944, in Worchester, Mass., to Charles and Eleanor Baker Christenson.
He was raised and educated in Mendon, Mass.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1961, and was stationed in France, Germany, California and Japan before retiring to Fort Knox, Ky., in 1981, after serving his country for 20 years.
He Married Toni Ward (Miskell) Nov. 5, 1963. He then moved to Florida and then to Alaska and worked on the Alaska pipeline and later moved to Enid. He loved motorcycles, fishing and all of nature. He was a Ham operator KI5PH and enjoyed talking to other Hams all over the world. He was also a computer buff and spent many hours playing online.
He is survived by his daughter, Candice Christenson of Enid; son, David Christenson of Marlow, Okla.; two grandchildren, Kris and Kyle and Toni Ward Miskell of Enid; and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charlie.
