ENID, OK — CLO RINE funeral service is 10 a.m. today at Nash Christian Church. She will be laid to rest at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid.

Arrangements provided by Wilson Funeral Home of Pond Creek.

Clo Elizabeth (White) Rine was born Sept. 22, 1915, in Rana, New Mexico to Don and Myrtle White. She passed away Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at the age of 97. Clo married LeeRoy Rine on Aug. 24, 1940, in Raton, New Mexico. They were married 59 years.

She was a longtime member of the Nash Christian Church. She was a resident of Greenbrier assisted living for the past 13 memorable years.

Clo began teaching young children at the age of 19, teaching at Goltry, Gore and Medford. The last 33 years of her teaching career were in Nash and Jet-Nash schools. Clo received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Phillips University. She retired in 1977.

Clo taught sunday school at the Nash Christian Church for many years. She was Grant county teacher of the year in 1967. She was a member of several organizations including Christian Women’s Fellowship, Nash Senior Citizens, Grant County Retired Teachers and Eastern Star where she served as a worthy matron.

She is survived by her son, Terry and his wife, Mary Fleet of Arlington, Texas; two grandsons, Gregory and wife, Marissa of Justin, Texas and Jeffrey and wife, Crystal of Georgetown, Texas; three great-grandsons, Ethan, Jebediah, Hoak and one great-granddaughter, Paisley; one sister, Velma of Tuscon, Ariz.

Clo is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy, her parents, sister, Vera and brother, Roy White.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Nash Volunteer Fire Department or Nash Christian Church.

     De was born June 2, 1926, in Medford, the son of George Alexander and Myrtle Biby Hamilton. De graduated from Gore High School. He entered the U.S. Navy on July 3, 1944 and was discharged on June 13, 1946. After De returned to Medford, he and Emma Jean Carrier were married on Sept. 29, 1946, in Nash. De worked as a butcher and retired in 1989. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Medford and was ordained as a Deacon in 1951.
