ENID, Okla. —
Funeral Service for Eva Mae Franklin, age 58, of Enid, will be 11 a.m. Friday at First Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Alfred Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Eva was born May 24, 1955, in Lawton, Okla., to Auskin and Annie Phillips Marpel and passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013, in Enid. She moved to Enid at an early age. She attended and graduated from Enid High School.
Eva enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, singing, and loved to be around her children and grandchildren. She was known as the Queen of the Parties.
Eva was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church.
Eva is survived by her daughters, Carmalita (Willard) Jackson of Enid, Annie (J.W.) Franklin of Enid and Brandy (Lamar) Ross-Larry of Baumholder, Germany; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, her mother, Annie Baker of Enid; two sisters, Pamela Hillmon of Georgia and Lorosa Richardson of Enid; four brothers, Eugene Murry, Samuel Murry, Aaron Murry and Terrance Miller, all of Enid; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her fathers, Auskin Marpel and Paul Miller; a sister, Regina Murry; grandchildren, J. W. Watson IV and Tanyjah K. Hall.
