ENID, Okla. —
Earl Lindsey Rogers, 65, was born Aug. 28, 1947, in Miami,OK, to D.L. and Doris Rogers and passed away Aug. 19, 2013, in Chiefland, FL.
He had been salesman for Scoggins Chevrolet and retired from Levy County School Board, Chiefland Elementary School. Earl was a graduate of Chiefland High School and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his mother, Doris Rogers of Chiefland; two sons, David Rogers of Chiefland and Landry Rogers of Baytown, TX.; sister, Carolyn R. Langford and nephew, Carl Langford, both of Enid, OK; two granddaughters; two aunts of OK and several cousins in OK and TX.
He is preceded in death by his father, D.L. Rogers, and grandparents of OK.
Service will be Friday, Aug 23, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services with Pastor Gordon Keller officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The family will have a private burial.
