ENID, Okla. — Celebration of life for Chris Clayton Yeager will be held for his family and friends at Stittsworth Memory Chapel on Friday, April 5, 2013, at 4 p.m.

Chris departed us on Sunday, March 31, 2013, at his home in Enid. Chris was born Oct. 21, 1955, in Mooreland, Okla., to Harrietta Grace Fields Yeager and Cecil Clayton Yeager. He graduated from Hardtner, Kan., High School in 1973.

Shortly after graduation, Chris entered the United States Air Force, where he served as a Telecommunications Specialist.

Chris was stationed at Offutt Air Force base before he was stationed in Germany, serving in the Strategic Air Command.

Upon Chris’s discharge from the Air Force he moved to Oklahoma, where he worked in construction, spending his time barbecuing and fishing with friends and family.

Chris is survived by three sons, Clinton, Travis and Tanner Yeager; six grandchildren, Marshall, Max, Connor, Zachary, Aaliyah and Mason Yeager; also by Chris’s companion Leslie Chance and sons, Riley Chance and Evan Davis; sisters, Cherri Baldwin and Genie Gwinn; and brother, Max Yeager.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CDSA of Enid, with Stittsworth’s acting as director of funds.
