ENID, OK —
Funeral for Steven Ray Schram, 43-year-old Enid resident, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Cedar Ridge Wesleyan Church. The Rev. Ron Olson officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Steven was born Jan. 4, 1971, in Enid, Okla., to Edward Lee and Carolyn (Kiely) Schram and died in his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.
He attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1989.
On Aug. 27, 1995, he married Toni Fields in Enid, where the couple made their home.
Steven worked with his father at Enid Home Improvement. At the time of his fathers’ death, he became owner and operator. He continued in that capacity for almost 20 years. He also worked at North American Stone Crafters. He loved construction. He loved building things. His hobbies were his work, which was his passion. He liked going to the lake and camping with friends and family. He also enjoyed attending his children’s sporting events.
He is survived by his wife, Toni, daughter, Chelsie and son, Austin, all of the home; his mother, Carolyn Kiely of Enid; three brothers, Mike Schram and wife Brenda of Covington, Richard Schram and wife Kema of Enid, and Bryan Thomason and wife Katie of Boston, Mass. He also is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward in 1993, and his uncle Harold.
