ENID, Okla. — Max Tromblee of Marietta, Ga., passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014.

Dr. Tromblee was a former Enid resident, a professor at Phillips University from 1967 to 1987, and conductor of the Enid-Phillips Symphony.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; their sons, Martin Tromblee, Portland, Ore., and Mason Tromblee, East Point, Ga.; and sister, Carol Rodgers, Edmond, Okla.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 23, 2014, in Georgia. Arrangements are by Sandy Springs Chapel funeral Directors, Sandy Springs, Ga. (

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the charity of donor’s choice.
