RINGWOOD, OK — Funeral service for Theresa Mae Hudgens, 60, of Ringwood, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, with Pastors Bill Smith and Dan O’Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. today, March 9, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Theresa was born Feb. 12, 1954, in Seminole, Texas, the daughter of James and Josephine Robinson Knight.

She was a graduate of Medford High School in 1972.

Theresa was united in marriage to Bryan Utterback in Medford, Okla., and to this union two children were born, Jeremy and Jazon, the light of her short life.

Upon moving to Goddard, Kan., she began work on her Certified Medication Aide (CMA) license.

Moving to Enid, she began work at Regional Hospital, later becoming L-Tech, an affiliate of Bass Hospital. The past several years, she was employed by The Dexeous.

She was united in marriage to William Hudgens on Aug. 28, 1990, in Enid, Okla. They lived on their farm west of Ringwood raising cattle, crops and Theresa’s miniature donkeys. She sold her donkeys to people all over Oklahoma and Texas. She was the world’s best Mamaw and is going to be missed dearly by all.

Survivors include her husband, Bill; three sons, Jeremy T. Utterback and wife Courtney of LaMoyne, Pa., Jazon Michael Utterback and wife Cassie, children James and Damion of Summerdale, Ala., and Zach Hudgens and wife Tamika of Enid; daughter, Melissa Bonniksen and husband Darrol, children Shelby, Ryan Dean and William of Drummond; her mother, Jo Dobbs of Enid; sister, Mary Knight Elmore and husband Bob of Excelsior Springs, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Knight; sister, Brenda Knight Purdy; and both sets of grandparents and both fathers-in-law, whom she loved.

Memorial contributions may be made to SPCA of Enid or Community Bible Church Youth Fund, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
