ENID, Okla. —
Linda Louise Johnson was born Jan. 11, 1970, in Fort Bragg, N.C. to Ralph “Red” Nesler, Jr., and Katherine Jean Olson McAfee and passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by great love, Oct. 5, 2012.
Linda was many things to many people; a loving daughter, sister, mother and friend. She was someone to laugh with, a shoulder to cry on, a devoted employee and a light shining her love in this community, touching more lives than she could have known with kindness. Linda had many noble qualities; among the greatest being a courage and a strength that grew as her life came to a close.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Army Sgt. 1st Class (Ret.) Arden R. Olson and Dorothy Britt Olson; paternal grandfather, Army Sgt. Maj. (Ret.) Ralph I. Nesler Sr. and her infant son, Kenneth Don Christian, II.
Surviving Linda is her mother, Katherine; father, Red and wife, Linda; children, Jacob Callan Christian and Melissa Anne Christian; grandson, Benjamin Wyatt Christian; sister, Betty Jean Palombini; two brothers, Robert Nesler and wife, Daniela; Samuel Palombini and wife, Amy, all of whom she will love and protect in death as she did in life.
The memorial service for Linda will be 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.
