ENID, Okla. —
James Lee Schuelke, 68, of Enid, was born on March 28, 1945, in Anthony, Kan., the son of Gail Bernard and Vivian Clarabell Boruff Schuelke, and passed away at his residence.
He was raised and educated in Wakita, graduating from Wakita High School with the class of 1963. James graduated from Oklahoma State University with a master’s in economics.
He was a professor at Phillips University and then worked as a hospital and nursing home administrator, supervising the Wakita Nursing Home for many years.
He married Duangphon Meechan in Thailand in 2008.
Surviving are his wife, Phon; daughters, Daisy, Amanda and Alyssa; mother, Vivian; brother, Paul; and sister, Patricia.
