Memorial service for Danny Pete Flaming, 67, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Aspen Mortuary, Arvada, Colo.
Danny was born Feb. 26, 1945, in Enid, Okla., to Ervin P. and Ruth Frances (Church) Flaming and passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, in Denver, Colo., surrounded by family.
He graduated from Enid High School in 1963, and married Holly Polwort of Enid. They later divorced.
He attended Oklahoma State University and Colorado State University with a degree in manufacturing engineering.
He worked for Sunstrand Aviation as a manufacturing engineer for a number of years, specifying and purchasing specialty manufacturing equipment.
He is survived by his son, Chris Hansen of Arvada, Colo., and wife Willidea, three grandchildren, Breann, Cord and Bethany; daughter, Danelle McBride of Westminister, Colo., and husband Steve, and one grandson Justin McBride. He is also survived by two brothers, Phil Duncan of Enid, and David Duncan of Edmond, and one sister, Beth Flaming Schurle of Neodesha, Kan.
Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Flaming; father, Ervin Flaming; stepmother, Lorraine Flaming; brother, Michael Duncan; and sisters, Susan Duncan and Nancy Flaming.
