SKIATOOK, OK —
Funeral for Pamela Sue Stamps will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2014, in Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel, Skiatook, with the Rev. Dale Nielsen officiating. Interment will follow in Osage Gardens Cemetery under direction of Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Pamela Sue Stamps, age 70, of Skiatook, died at 7:13 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.
Pamela was born Jan. 3, 1944 in Springfield, Mo., to Paul and Mabel (Beasley) Thompson. She grew up and was educated in Enid and earned an associate degree in business.
She moved to Hennessey, Okla., where she met Roy, and they married in 1982, then they moved to Skiatook. Pamela was a homemaker.
Pamela loved to go camping and fishing for the past 25 years. Pamela also liked to spend time with her family and especially her grandkids.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and by one son, James Scott Murphy.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Roy of the home; children, Jeff Murphy, Mark Stamps, Johnny Stamps and wife Tracie, Scott Stamps and wife, Dala and Cindy Ramos and husband, Robert; five sisters; numerous grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; and a host of friends.
Casket escorts are Mark Stamps, Scott Stamps, Virgil Stamps, Johnny Stamps, Chuck Allred, Robert Ramos, Cody Ramos and James Murphy.
Music for the services: “How Great Thou Art” and “Peace In The Valley,” will be performed by Karon Roberts and Sharon Harper.
Funeral and interment are under direction of Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
