TULSA, OK — Funeral for Mr. Teddy Ray Tarrant, 50, of Tulsa, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Hennessey. The Rev. L.D. Choate will officiate. Burial will follow in Hennessey Cemetery under direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born June 19, 1963, to Benjamin Floyd and Minnie Mae Ahldon Tarrant in Okarche and passed away November 8, 2013, in Muskogee.

He grew up and was educated in Billings, graduating from Billings High School in 1981. He worked on his family farm before moving to Tulsa, where he made his home. He worked as a brick masonry aid until he was medically unable.

He was a baptized member of First Methodist Church in Billings and enjoyed tractor shows.

He is survived by his stepmother, Nancy Lou Tarrant, of Ames; two sisters, Amy and husband Chris Basehart of Edmond and Kimberly and husband Tom Holden of Hunter; brothers, Scott of Ames, Mark and wife Cecilia of Tonkawa; sister-in-law Lisa of Tulsa; six nephews and five nieces.

He is preceded by his father, Benjamin, and brother, Rocky.
