ENID, Okla. —
Funeral for Ruby Jean Weyerts, 81-year-old Enid resident, will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Keith Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Visitation with family is 6-8 p.m. today at Henninger-Hinson Chapel.
Ruby was born Oct. 18, 1931, in Butler, Okla., to Lolo Mar (Etherton) and Harry Holiday Everet Lewis and died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, in Bridgeport, Texas.
She worked for JCPenny and Hallmark stores during her life and enjoyed her church and family. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by stepdaughters, Agnes Louise Britton and husband Joe of Chico, Texas., and Doris Eleen Gerten and husband Nickolas of Yukon, Okla.; and stepson, James Weyerts and wife Nancy of Plano, Texas. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Weyerts Jr. and sons, Dan Patton and Lance Patton.
