ENID, Okla. —
Mass of Christian Burial for Robert C. Collins, 68-year-old Enid resident, will be 10 a.m. today at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph Irwin will officiate. The Rev. Rajesh Mankena will concelebrate. Burial will follow in Bison Cemetery.

Bob was born November 11, 1944, in Enid to Frank C. and Olive P. (McCall) Collins and died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at his home in Enid. He attended Waukomis schools and graduated with the class of 1962. He enrolled at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, and after two years transferred to Phillips University, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in music education. On May 21, 1966, he married his high school sweetheart, Suzie Linhart, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bison.
The couple made their first home in Enid before moving to Marshall, where Bob was the band director for three years. They then moved to Garber, where he held that position for five years. They returned to Enid, where Bob went to work at Jensen’s Music Store. He later worked at Janzen Olds and also Curttright Honda until ill health forced him to retire. He was awarded salesman of the year multiple times at both dealerships.
He enjoyed farming and working outdoors as well as working on his cars.
Bob is survived by his wife, Suzie, of the home; daughter, Cindy Beltrano and husband Aldo and their children, Adriana and Francesco, of Jupiter, Florida; son, Rob Collins and wife Kim and their children, Kalina and Landon, of Enid; one aunt, Betty Lou Blackwell, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a niece, Diane Lindsay, and family; a nephew, Carson LeMarr, and family; a brother-in-law, Tom LeMarr; as well as several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Jeanene.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love or Our Daily Bread.
