ENID, Okla. —
Mass of Christian burial for Ronald Tuma, 37, of Waukomis, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Irwin officiating. Visitation with family will be 5:30-7 p.m. today, Dec. 17, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bison Cemetery.
Ron was born to Ronald and Kathy (Duhachek) Tuma on Oct. 7, 1976, in Schuyler, Neb., and passed away Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at his parents’ home in Waukomis.
Ron grew up in Nebraska before moving to Enid, and graduated from Waukomis High School. He earned an associate degree from OSU/Okmulgee.
Ron worked for civil service at Vance AFB, where he received several awards. He was a volunteer with the Waukomis Fire Department. He enjoyed rebuilding pick-ups and remodeling his parents’ home.
He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Kathy Tuma of Waukomis; brothers, Michael Tuma of Waukomis, and Christopher Tuma and wife Chelsea of Enid; sisters, Jaclyn Holmes and husband Steve of Clearwater, Kan., and Andrea Rigney and husband Nicholas of Bourbonnais, Ill.; niece, Scarlett Rigney; nephew, Matthew Holmes; Grandma JoAnne Duhachek and Grandpa Raymond Duhachek (who died a few hours after Ron) of Meadow Grove, Neb.; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ron was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
