Minnie was born September 14, 1924, on the Roggow family farm north of Breckinridge, OK. She was the seventh child of 11 born to Reinhard and Ella (Schossow) Roggow. Minnie went to be with our Lord and Savior November 1, 2012, “All Saints Day,” at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, where she had faithfully worked for 24 years as an LPN in ICU and then 15 years as a volunteer in ICU.

Minnie married Robert Wilgus October 24, 1947. When they lived in California, Minnie went back to school and received her LPN degree in 1968. She worked for five years at a hospital in Santa Ana, CA. In 1972, Minnie and Bob moved back to Enid, OK. Bob passed away in June 1973.

Minnie always was active in her church, Immanuel Lutheran Breckinridge, OK. She taught Sunday school for more than 35 years and was active in LWML, Fellowship League, Thrivent and Bible classes. She always was willing to share the love of Jesus with anyone she met.

Minnie also was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Bertha Loesch, Della Palmer and Hilda Roggow; three brothers, Bernhard, Herman and Erwin Roggow; and one nephew, Raymond Loesch.

Survivors include one sister, Bernice McCanless, Enid; three brothers, Wallace Roggow and wife Ladova, Victor Roggow and Gerald Roggow and wife Judy, all of Breckinridge; 29 nieces and nephews; and a number of great-nieces and nephews.
