ENID, Okla. —
ROSE-MARIE HICKOK COOK GOFF *
Rose-Marie Hickok Cook Goff, of Blue Eye, Mo., passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, in Springfield, Mo. She was born July 8, 1927, in Enid, Okla., to George Elbert and Goldie May (Pearcy) Hickok. She was the first of Stacy and Annie Black Pearcy’s 56 grandchildren.
Rose-Marie worked as an interior decorator and created custom draperies for most of her life.
Her journey here on earth has been long and fruitful, leading her from Oklahoma to Wichita, Kan., San Diego, Calif., Los Angeles, Tacoma, Wash., and eventually to Springfield and Blue Eye, Mo.
Her strength and faith in God sustained her through the many trials and tribulations of this life, and she rests now in Heaven at last.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph David Cook Sr., her parents, her brother, Loyd Lee Hickok, and a daughter, Cheryl Ann Cook Scherff.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Goff of Blue Eye, Mo.; son, Ralph David Cook Jr. and wife Donna of Orange, Calif.; daughter, Mary Sue Summers and husband Lance Logan of Jacksonville, Fla.; son, Ricky Lynn Cook and wife Nancy of Verona, Mo.; son, James Eric Cook and wife Laurie of Owasso, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at Greenlawn North Funeral Home with burial in Eastlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. today, Jan. 14, at the funeral home. Funeral service is entrusted to Greenlawn North Funeral Home, Springfield, Mo.
