Sebranek completes banking graduate school
Central National Bank recently announced Austin Sebranek, vice president of ag lending, has completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
GSBC is an intensive 25-month banking school providing senior management and leadership education for community banking professionals. The school is held each summer on the campus of the University of Colorado Boulder in Boulder, Colo. Sebranek was recognized by SVP Lawrence Yunker as a rising star within the organization, and began the school in 2011. Completing this educational experience is a significant accomplishment in the banking and financial services industry.
“We are incredibly proud of Austin for his hard work and commitment to the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado,” Yunker said. “The curriculum is grueling and the intersession assignments are intense. Austin did extremely well in all areas.”
Students receive a diploma upon successfully completing six weeks of classroom training focusing on the areas of general management, lending, leadership and human resource management and financial management. Requirements also include comprehensive examinations, intersession research projects and participation in a bank management simulation course designed to provide the student with experience in managing a bank.
The 62nd annual school session was held July 15-27 at GSBC. Sebranek was among 115 graduates from across the country recognized in a ceremony July 26 at Folsom Field.
