Credit union’s grand opening is Friday

— Communications Federal Credit Union, one of Oklahoma’s largest credit unions, will have a grand opening Friday to showcase its newly renovated Enid branch.

An outdoor barbecue sandwich lunch will be served 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in a tent, and sodas and cookies will be served 1-6 p.m. indoors. There will be prize giveaways for a big screen television, an iPad and gift cards.

“We’re excited about the new branch, because it will help us serve the financial needs of more people in the area,” said Charlene Young, Enid branch manager. “We want to make our presence known in Enid and let everyone know we’re here to help people make their dreams possible.”

Communications Federal has been in Enid since 1990 and was founded in 1939. It has more than 53,000 members and more than $830 million in assets.
