ENID, Okla. —
The Home Care Association of America’s (HCAoA) Oklahoma Chapter held nominations through the spring for employees who have shown exceptional dedication and commitment to their home care organizations.
The nominations came from agency managers and administrators throughout Oklahoma. There were two categories to nominate from: Caregiver Staff and Administration Staff. Winners were selected from each of four regions of the state: Tulsa Metro, Oklahoma City Metro, Western OK State, and Eastern OK State.
Of the areas who submitted nominations, 14 winners were chosen by the HCAoC’s Awards and Recognition Committee. Those from the Enid area include:
Lori Waken, Grace Care, administration, Western Region; Sheila Pier, Grace Care, administration, Western Region; Linda Hempfling, CareTeam, caregiver, Western Region; Cindy Rufenacht, Grace Care, caregiver, Western Region.
The Home Care Association of America is the nationally recognized resource for information and definition of private duty home care practice, supported by a strong national membership of providers. Today, the HCAoC represents more than 1,200 member organizations and 250,000 employees throughout the United States, providing private-pay in-home care services for the elderly and disabled.
