Encompass hires Bellamy

Encompass Financial Services, Inc., an Oklahoma-based real estate, appraisal and risk management company, has hired Josh Bellamy as a multi-peril and crop hail agent, a personal property appraiser and an auctioneer.
“Josh Bellamy is an enormous asset to the Encompass team,” said founder and president, Tom Evans. “His energy and go get ‘em attitude compliment his passion for excellence and superior customer service. We are very excited to have him with us and are continually impressed by his contributions.”
Bellamy is charged with all facets of client development, including responsibility for overall client satisfaction, customer retention and new customer referrals. He also will provide farm mapping services and manage marketing activities such as grower meetings, producer education events, trade shows and various other local events.
Encompass Auction will largely be managed by Bellamy, who will serve as auctioneer and auction services coordinator. As a certified personal property appraiser, Bellamy can provide a value report on personal property and equipment to be used for situations such as IRS requirements, estate planning, charitable donation, bankruptcy, risk management and divorce.
Originally from Freeport, Kan., Bellamy is a graduate of Wakita High School and received his bachelor of science degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. He brings more than five years of communication experience, multiple certifications and nearly a decade of agricultural experience to the company. Additionally, he is working to complete a graduate degree at NWOSU and is pursuing his real estate license.

Burrises earn cremation
arrangement certification

Richard and Monte Burris, owners and operators of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory, recently earned certificates for completion of a cremation arrangement course, which taught how to create meaningful memorial services and provide service and products while conforming to high ethical standards. The Burrises now are certified cremation arrangers with International Cremation and Funeral Association.

Burkhart to offer insurance
in northern Oklahoma

Tom Burkhart has joined Insurance Planning, Inc., Hays, Kan., as a commercial lines account executive serving northern Oklahoma, including Guymon, Woodward, Enid, Blackwell, Ponca City and Bartlesville.
He will focus on commercial, professional liability, life and health insurance products and services.
Burkhart brings 12 years professional experience, having served for a major insurer which served six counties in Oklahoma and western Kansas.
Insurance Planning, Inc., is western Kansas’ largest independent insurance agency with offices in Hays, Great Bend and Russell.

Wymer-Brownlee staff attend
national conference in Texas

Registered representatives Kyle Brownlee, Stephen O’Neill, Lindsay Hay and Mary Szafranski, client relationship manager Tamara Magee and client service manager Tamara White, all of Wymer Brownlee Tax and Financial Management, attended H.D. Vest Financial Services 23rd annual national conference June 1-4 in Ft. Worth, Texas.
At the conference, the team chose from customized courses and 129 sessions by industry leaders, including breakout sessions and general sessions as well as exhibits and special events. They gathered new ideas to help their clients work toward their financial goals and best ways to provide excellent client service.
Additionally, business development and marketing director Delena Hardaway and client relationship manager Amy Moss helped to facilitate an assistant’s academy pilot program during the conference. Hardaway and Moss shared ways to increase efficiencies, implement repeatable processes, effectively communicate internally and externally and share your unique firm value.

Cordry named medical
director at Tulsa clinic

Ray Cordry, D.O. recently joined staff at Parkside Psychiatric Hospital & Clinic, Tulsa, and was named medical director on July 1.
Cordry previously practiced in Enid between 1995 and 2005.
Parkside Psychiatric Hospital & Clinic provides a full continuum of mental health and chemical dependency treatment services including inpatient treatment programs for both youth and adults and an outpatient clinic with specialized group therapy offerings, individual and family therapy services. Parkside is a private not-for-profit organization.
