Smith earns RE/MAX 100 percent Club Award
Larry Smith has earned the RE/MAX 100 percent Club Award, which was presented at the Oklahoma Awards Celebration in Oklahoma City Feb. 4. Smith is an associate with RE/MAX Premier Realtors in Enid. The award represents gross income for the year 2007.
He also was named in the overall Top 100 RE/MAX Associates in Oklahoma, which reflects a combination of teams and individual sales associate cumulative commissions.
Smith has been in the real estate business since 1979, joining RE/MAX in 2000. This is the fourth year he has qualified for the award.
Financial adviser Andrew meets with lawmakers
Bill Andrew, an Enid financial adviser for Edward Jones, recently met with lawmakers in Washington, D.C., to seek legislation to increase savings and enhance retirement security.
Andrew was one of 57 financial advisers chosen from the firm to lobby on behalf of individual investors.
An-drew does this as a member of Grassroots Task Force, a group dedicated to voicing investment concerns.

Kasey Kelley achieves specialist designation
Kasey Kelley, of Edward Jones in Enid, has achieved the professional designation of accredited asset management specialist.
Kelley completed the specialist education program at the Denver-based College for Financial Planning. Those who complete the program, pass a final exam and sign a code of ethics and disclosure form earn the AAMS designation.
This advanced training offers investment professionals hands-on information needed to provide comprehensive financial services. Study topics range from understanding the asset management process to understanding asset allocation and strategies.
Dr. Grieshober completes advanced dentistry course
Dr. Kurt Grieshober has completed the advanced functional dentistry course provided by Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Functional Restorative Dental Studies. The three-day, hands-on course provides doctors with the advanced clinical skills.
Grieshober completed the program facilitated by Dr. William Dickerson, founder and CEO of LVI Global. While at LVI, Grieshober underwent training on how to evaluate, diagnose and treat restorative cases.

Professional Tree Care employees receive award
Jim Mitchell of Professional Tree Care of Enid, and Zack Mitchell, Professional Tree Care of Edmond, recently received an E-Tree Award, presented by city of Edmond Vice Mayor Charles Lamb and Karen Mullholland, chairwoman of Urban Forest Commission.
E-Tree awards recognize businesses and individuals who have helped further efforts to enhance Edmond’s urban forest.
The award was presented to Professional Tree Care for “their quick response, determination, and fortitude, working 24 hours straight to get the power back on for the citizens of Edmond after the ice storm of December 2007.”
Professional Tree Care has conducted training workshops for municipal and electric employees.
Cobb completes OBA lending school at OSU
Becky Cobb, vice president at Security National Bank of Enid, recently completed the Oklahoma Bankers Association (OBA) 2008 Commercial Lending School at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.
Conducted annually, OBA Commercial Lending School is designed to prepare bankers to serve effectively as commercial loan officers. Cobb was among 51 students who attended the school in Stillwater. Students learn about the steps they should take in evaluating business loan requests, how businesses are structured, how they compete and how to evaluate the management of business borrowers.
They also studied factors that affect loan pricing and approaches to loan structuring and administrations. Students were given an opportunity to apply these analytical techniques in a lending situation case study.
OBA conducts more than 70 educational programs and seminars each year for the state banking community. The association represents approximately 280 banks across the state, supporting the industry with a broad array of services including government relations, education, legal services and communications.
Fugazzi receives award
Real estate sales associate Jennifer Fugazzi, with ERA Nicholas Real Estate, has received national recognition from global real estate leader ERA, attaining The Leadership Circle Award for 2008.
The award is earned by only 1 percent of the more than 38,000 ERA associates worldwide.

Nicholas Real Estate was established in 1955. Now in its 53rd year, Nicholas Real Estate is one of the longest active Realtor groups in northwest Oklahoma. They became an ERA affiliate in 2007.
Wymer Brownlee adds Proctor to firm’s staff
Sara Proctor recently joined the firm of Wymer Brownlee Tax and Financial Management.
She will be involved in planning, developing and implementing all of Wymer Brownlee’s marketing strategies, marketing communications and public relations activities.

Proctor brings seven years of customer service experience to Wymer Brownlee. She recently ran a volunteer program, managing more than 50 people for a hospice company in Norman. She was in charge of recruiting, training, retaining and managing all volunteers. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2005 with a bachelor’s in journalism and mass communications. She is a past member of Junior League of Norman and blood drive committee at Norman Regional Hospital. She has volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Oklahoma Blood Institute and Habitat for Humanity.
