RE/MAX Web site receives national award

A Hitwise Top Ten Award has been presented to www.remax.com, based on the number of U.S. visits to the site in the late quarter of 2007.
The Web site for RE/MAX is the most visited Web site of any real estate brokerage brand, averaging more than 2 million unique visitors each month. RE/MAX can be reached in Enid at 233-0330.



King receives promotion from Tastefully Simple

Kathy King, a Enid resident and independent consultant with Tastefully Simple Inc., is a team leader with the national direct seller of gourmet foods.
King earned the promotion through sales achievements and by adding new consultants to the team. The promotion entitles King to a variety of benefits, such as commissions, bonuses and allowances.

Young earns RE/MAX Executive Club Award

Kurt Young has earned the RE/MAX Executive Club Award presented at the Oklahoma Awards Celebration in Oklahoma City Feb. 4. Young is an associate with RE/MAX Premier Realtors in Enid. The award represents gross income for the year 2007.
Young has been with RE/MAX since 1997 and received his 10-year pin at the awards luncheon. He is president of Enid Metro Association of Realtors and is on the board of directors for Oklahoma Association of Realtors.



Thornton is named top employee at Northcutt

Bryce Thornton has been named Employ-ee of the Month for February at Northcutt Chevy-Buick-Toyota, 3201 W. Garriott.
He has been with Northcutt for 13 years as a Toyota sales representative.

Turner honored for work at The Living Center

Sharron Turner has been recognized for her 24 years of service as activity director of The Living Center.
Turner also handles other social services needs.
She was recognized for her service Jan. 7 during a corporate meeting in Tulsa.



McCants passes CPA exam on first attempt

Katie McCants, of Collins, Butler & Co. P.C., has passed the certified public accountant’s exam by American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
She passed the exam on her first attempt.
McCants, who joined the firm in June 2004 as staff accountant, is from Kremlin. She graduated from North-western Okla-homa State Univer-sity with bachelor of science degrees in accounting and business administration.



Goodrich attends ITEX conference in Las Vegas

Amber Goodrich of Copiers Plus recently attended the ITEX Document Technology and Business Solutions Confer-ence.
ITEX, held in Las Vegas, Feb. 21-22, is an annual event for document solutions providers seeking innovative products, new vendor partnerships and strategic education tracks to acquire more tools to revamp business models.
Nearly 3,200 people attended the two-day event, which included 250 exhibit booths. Speakers provided information on helping providers grow their businesses and provide their customers new solutions to problems.
