Evans has an interest in sustainable building design and construction and is pursuing certification through the U.S. Green Building Council to become a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professional.

“I am excited to be here,” she said. “CLM will fill a niche for many individuals, companies and organizations. I look forward to serving the community of Enid and becoming a part of northwest Oklahoma's future success.”

Greater Enid Young Professionals is forming

The new Greater Enid Young Professionals group will have its first meeting at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at Panevino, 124 W. Randolph.

“I think it’s going to be a great thing for Enid,” said Cara Jane Evans, manager of the Enid office of Custom Land Management.

There is no age limit. Membership is free.

“It’s really about a fresh approach to economic and community development,” Evans said. “There is not a certain type of industry ... in other communities you’ll find an engineer next to a tattoo artist next to a news anchor who is sitting by a financial analyst. The main criteria is that they possess a progressive and entrepreneurial spirit.”

For information, call Evans at (580) 748-2088 or Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce at 237-2494.
