A boy, Christian Eli, 9 pounds, 5 ounces, was born at 9:52 a.m. March 19 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kan., to Eli and Shannon Shields, Wichita. Grandpar-ents are Rocky and Georgia Corbin, Enid; Michael Shields, Tulsa; Susan Shields, Chester; and the late Tom Guthrie. Great-grandparents are Bob and Syble Guthrie, Lois Hooley and George Hooley, all of Enid; the late Dutch Diesterweg; the late Helen Diesterweg; and the late James and Janet Shields. Christian has two brothers, Colin and Karsten, and one sister, Kendall.

A girl, Tina Ryder, 6 pounds, 4 ounces, was born at 9:48 p.m. March 29 at Balboa Naval Medical Center, San Diego, Calif., to Taylor and Lauren Himes, San Diego. Grandparents are David and Suzy Himes, Enid, and the late Kathy Himes.



Rieger



A girl, Makaya Miah Rae, 7 pounds, 8.4 ounces, was born at 6:45 pm. April 5 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center to Makaya McDaniel and Johnny Rieger, Enid. Grandparents are Timothy McDaniel and Darla Rieger, both of Enid; Marleen Leierer, Ringwood; and the late John Rieger. Great-grandparents are Margo and Kenneth Dennett, Enid.
