ENID, Okla. — Joe J. Kudlac will celebrate his 95th birthday with a reception for family and friends Sunday at No. 1 Oklahoma Polka Club Dance. Cards and phone calls are welcome.

He was born Dec. 13, 1917, on a farm east of Hennessey, Okla., to Joe and Louise Vrska Kudlac.

He attended Center View School, east of Hennessey.

He farmed near Hennessey, and then worked at Northcutt Chevrolet of Enid for over 37 years as front-end alignment specialist. He has lived at the same location, 404 Utah, North Enid, 73701, since 1963.

He has had a life membership with the Men’s Garden Club since 1970, serving for many years as chairman of Garden Problems and Solutions Committee. He has a special interest in vegetable and flower gardening, and his pecan trees.

He is a member of the No. 1 Oklahoma Polka Club, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1740, Central Christian Church, Sooner Sunday School Class, Enid RSVP and also attends Waukomis United Methodist Church.

His children are Jerry Kudlac and wife Cleo of Yukon, Okla., and Joan Winterringer of Enid.
