Raymond was born Nov. 20, 1927, in Washington, D.C., the son of Louis and Lena Lasky.
He is a 1945 graduate of Roosevelt High School, Washington, D.C., and a 1951 graduate of George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
He married Diane Lemon Jan. 31, 1976, in Rockville, Md.
He worked for Vitro Industries in Maryland; Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.; Department of Corrections in Washington, D.C., for 24 years.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1948, in Bremen, Germany; Hamburg, Germany; and Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C., as a medic.
He is a member of Liberty Southern Baptist Church, has been a member of Collington Lodge 230 Masonic Lodge in Bowie, Md., since 1954, was a NARFE officer and member of R.S.V.P. He also served as a volunteer of the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center.
His children are David Lasky, Chantilly, Va., and stepson, Keith Lemon, Wichita, Kan. He has six grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
