— Jacob M. “Jake” Weaver will celebrate his 80th birthday with a family dinner. Cards may be sent to 2513 Indian Dr., Enid, OK 73703.

Jake was born March 16, 1933, in Murrell, Pa., the son of Chester R. and Katie M. Weaver.

He graduated from Ephrata High School, Ephrata, Pa., with the class of 1951.

Jake and Mary C. Baldwin were married Feb. 24, 1957, in Waynesville, N.C.

He worked at Vance Air Force Base for numerous contractors, retiring in March 2000 from Lockheed-Martin as a flight simulator (T-1A) technician and logistic coordinator.

He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in February 1953, retiring in June 1978, after 251⁄2 years.

He is a member of and an ordained deacon at Enid First Baptist Church, and a member of the Sanctuary Choir and Prime Timers Choir.

His children are Paula K. Jackson and husband Brad and Brit A. Weaver and wife Betsy, both of Stillwater. He has four grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
