Norma Lee (Nash) Roy will celebrate her 90th birthday with a reception for family and friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Civitan Community Building. Cards may be sent to 1314 N. Garland Road, Apt.. 605, Enid, OK 73703.
Norma was born Dec. 9, 1923, in Hillsdale, the daughter of Harry and Beulah (Benell) Nash.
She attended Hillsdale School and graduated with the class of 1941.,
Norma and Jack Roy were married Jan. 9, 1943, in California.
They lived in the Hillsdale area most of their married life. Jack passed away in 1993. Norma then moved to Enid, where she worked at Dillards.
She has been a member of Hillsdale Bible Church all her life, where she served as Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir and was a deaconess for two terms.
Her children are Joy Dennis and husband Bob of Enid; Jon Roy and wife Oleita of Douglass, Kan.; the late Kathy Messenger; and Julie Sloan and husband Terry of Meno. She has nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
