— Marjorie Evelyn Hartling celebrated her 91st birthday Thursday. Cards may be sent to 2322 E. Maple, Enid, OK 73701.

Marjorie was born Feb. 28, 1922, in Kanopolis, Kan., the daughter of Victor and Edna Phelps Livingston.

She attended school in Kanopolis, Adams Elementary School, Longfellow Junior High School and graduated from Enid High School. She also is a graduate of St. Mary’s nurses training and worked many years in pediatrics.

She married Harold Hartling, a Vance AFB pilot, on June 29, 1945, in Enid. He died in August 1980.

She continues to use here nursing skills as caregiver to many family members and friends.

She enjoys bowling, gardening and visiting friends and family.

 She has four sons, Dick Hartling and wife Anita, Gary Hartling, Mike Hartling and wife Norma, and Jack Hartling, all of Enid. She has 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
