ENID, Okla. —
Gerald Pralle will celebrate his 80th birthday June 1, 2013. Cards may be sent to 10 Quartz St., Gunnison, CO 81230. He request no gifts.
Gerald was born June 1, 1933, in Enid, Okla., the son of Delbert and Bertha (Sattelmeier) Pralle. He has one brother, Wayne Pralle, Tooele, Utah, and one sister, Jane Ross, Gunnison, Colo.
Gerald was raised on his parent’s farm in the Fairmont community, where he farmed and raised poultry.
After moving to Gunnison, Colo., he worked for Marriott Food Services, Western State College, Gunnison, Colo., until his retirement.
Following his retirement, he worked at Six Points Evaluation and Training Inc., a private, nonprofit organization serving developmentally disabled adults in Gunnison and surrounding communities.
While living in the Fairmont community, he was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Fairmont. He currently is a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Gunnison, Colo.
Gerald was and still is an avid model railroader. He also enjoys painting in watercolors.
