— Imogene (Jeanne) Dickey will celebrate her 90th birthday with a come-and-go reception for family and friends 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Christian Church of the Covenant, 1205 S. Cleveland. She requests no gifts, and if you are unable to attend, cards may be sent to 2814 W. Waller Drive, Enid, OK 73703. Jeanne was born in Pawhuska Aug. 23, 1923, the youngest daughter of William and Ada La Rue. She grew up in the oil fields, around Carter Nine, Denoya and Shidler, where she also attended school. Jeanne is an accomplished seamstress and has shared her talent with many. She worked for many years as bookkeeper for Dierkson Jones Buick before her retirement. She is a longtime member of Christian Church of the Covenant. Her children are Harriett and husband, Carl Dupus, and Gary Dickey of Enid. She also has two stepchildren, Catherine Halcomb of Ajo, Ariz., and the late Tom Dickey of San Marcos, Calif. Jeanne has 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
