Betty Ann was born Oct. 10, 1932, in Covington, the daughter of Curtis B. and Mary B. Clement.
She is a 1950 graduate of Covington High School.
She married Leonard Janssen Sept. 14, 1955. They were married 29 years at his death in May 1989. She married Lynn Smith June 6, 1996. He died in January 2004.
She worked as a waitress at Ed’s Cafe for six years and Eberts Cafe for four years, both in Waukomis. She also was a caregiver and babysitter.
She taught Sunday school at Calvary Assembly in Enid and is a member of Evangel Assembly of God, Enid.
She is a member of Red Hat Society and Waukomis Community Club.
Her children are David Taylor and wife Dianne of Claremore; Elizabeth Davis and husband Alfred of Hennessey; Ruthie Schultz, Enid; and the late Curtis Taylor Sr. She has seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two Godchildren.
