Ruth (Riley) Martin and Ruby (Riley) Woods will celebrate their birthday with a reception for family and friends 2-4 p.m. Saturday in the Great Room at Fairview Fellowship Home. The twins were born Dec. 9, 1913, northwest of Longdale, the daughters of Ross and Maude Riley.
Ruby lives in Fairview. She graduated from Longdale High School as valedictorian of her class in 1930, and is a 1931 graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma College-Alva.
She married Raymond Woods Jan. 12, 1934.
She was a homemaker, rural school teacher for three years, and worked as a bookkeeper.
She is a member of Central Christian Church in Fairview.
Her children are Ray Woods, Cleo Springs; Don Woods, Fairview; the late Robert Woods; Margaret Castleberry, Enid; and Ken Woods, Fairview. She has 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Ruth lives in Yukon with her daughter. She also graduated valedictorian of her 1930 class at Longdale High School.
She married Johnny Martin. She is a homemaker and member of Christian Church in Cleo Springs.
Her children are Janice Martin, Midwest City; Karen Martin Gatz, Yukon; LaJohnna Johnson, Edmond; and the late Connie Rhoads.
